This week we are giving everyone a jar of fall honey from our beehives here at Moy Mell. This honey is mostly made from heath aster nectar, and is already crystalizing even though it was extracted only a few weeks ago. Aster honey is very sweet, and very thick and also crystalizes very fast. If you want liquid honey, just warm it up on the stove. I like to keep all our honey raw, so it will come to you as it is.
Our meat item this week is bacon from Boedges Family Farms, and all shares receive cinnamon bread from Hummingbird Kitchen. Enjoy!
